Big Sur Charter School is a tuition-free, public charter school, serving students in Monterey and adjacent counties. Our program blends home education with learning center classes two days a week.  

The deadline to be included in the 2026-27 Lottery is Friday, March 13, 2026 at noon. Applications received after that date will be placed on a waitlist in the order they were received. We will communicate your application status by email within three business days.
